Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting and its 4 facilities of excellence have chosen Blastness as their technology partner for business development.

Blastness, a strategic and technological partner of independent accommodation facilities for 15 years, won the tender awarded by Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting to Vanguard Hub, an international company specialising in Digital Strategy, for the provision of services and technologies to support the business of hotels and resorts on the Calabrian coast. The screening involved more than 10 of the most important national and international companies operating in the hotel sector.

Blastness has won the trust of the group led by Luca Giuliano - CEO & Founder of Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting - and, for the next five years, will work alongside it in the areas of Distribution, Revenue and Digital Marketing with the aim of implementing innovative solutions that will ensure the four structures in its portfolio - Capovaticano Resort Thalasso SPA and Baia Del Sole Resort in Capo Vaticano, Villa Paola and La Dolce Vita in Tropea, - reap the maximum benefits in the Digital Tourism market. In particular, Blastness was chosen for the supply of the CRS platform (booking engine, channel manager, rate checker), the Business Intelligence and the FOX Revenue Management System, as well as for the management of Pay Per Click campaigns on search engines and metamotors.

Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting, heir to a family tradition with forty years of history in the hôtellerie, specialises in the management of hotels in the premium and luxury segment, with projects of repositioning and architectural redevelopment, care of the territory and development of sustainable solutions.

Andrea Delfini, Founder & CEO of Blastness, says "in our sector it is unusual to participate in selection processes conducted by foreign companies for the choice of technology platforms of independent Italian structures not belonging to international chains. To win this tender, in comparison with the most important players at international level, is for us an important recognition and a source of pride. It is also stimulating to discover in our country dynamic realities led by a young and highly qualified team that, especially in this period, are investing in digitisation and innovation".

Luca Giuliano echoes him: "The digital and technological backwardness of Italian companies, in all fields, has in recent years created a significant competitiveness gap with our colleagues in the more advanced western countries. We must quickly close this gap and that is why, despite the period of uncertainty, we must have the courage to invest in these two fields in order to be ready to seize all the opportunities when the recovery comes quickly."

Concludes Vittoria Careri, Marketing Manager of Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting "We are going through a phase of great digital and cultural transformations that the pandemic has accelerated and made irreversible: for a growing reality like ours, it is essential to anticipate these changes and not chase them, and we are confident that partners with a consolidated background like Blastness can be a support and stimulus for our project".

Two dynamic and fast-growing companies that not only share a consolidated experience in the hotel sector, but also the objective of providing cutting-edge services for the benefit of hotels. The know-how, technologies and solutions of Blastness combined with Mediterranean Hospitality Management & Consulting's strong orientation towards the well-being of the individual and the offer of local and authentic experiences, make this collaboration a sure development opportunity for the hotels involved.
