With this operation, Blastness now serves over 2,000 hospitality properties

Rome, 6 October 2025 – Blastness, a leading provider of hotel booking technologies, continues its expansion. Just months after acquiring Athena Solutions and the ErmesHotels brand, the company, led by Andrea Delfini, has acquired 100% of the capital of Prossima Isola S.r.l., the parent company of Mentefredda S.r.l., a nationally recognised player in tourism digital marketing and revenue management, and founding partner of the innovative brand VUIT, created through the collaboration between Mentefredda and ErmesHotels.

With this operation, Blastness increases its portfolio to over 2,000 client hospitality establishments and consolidates its role as a strategic partner in the hospitality sector, further expanding its ability to offer increasingly complete, advanced, and high-value solutions. In its core market, Blastness – thanks to its proprietary platform that allows hotels to optimise profitability and increase direct online bookings – has been the leading provider of reservation systems for 5-star hotels in Italy for over 15 years. The operation also allows Blastness to acquire new market shares in previously untapped sectors, such as amusement parks and tourism portals. This expands the Group’s scope and strengthens its territorial presence, particularly in Sardinia, a region with strong tourism potential. The acquisition ensures full continuity for the companies within the Prossima Isola Group and confirms Blastness’s interest in investing in the Sardinian territory.

“This operation is tangible proof of Blastness’s commitment to continuously investing in an increasingly complete and high-value offering,” – says Andrea Delfini, CEO of Blastness – “What unites us with Mentefredda and VUIT is a shared mission and vision, results-oriented and focused on ROI for the client. We support hospitality businesses in developing their digital operations not only by providing advanced technologies but also consultancy and training. At Prossima Isola, we have found a team with extensive experience, expertise, professionalism, and passion, with whom we can offer our clients increasingly integrated, innovative solutions capable of delivering tangible results.”

Founded in Alghero in 2009, Mentefredda has earned the trust of major tourism players nationwide. Over the years, it has collaborated with prestigious resorts and hotels, amusement parks, tour operators, and tourism portals, offering a tailored, results-driven approach. Its expertise spans from website design and e-commerce development to revenue management, digital marketing, and content creation, contributing to enhancing prominent tourism brands both in Sardinia such as L’Ea Bianca Luxury Resort, Baja Hotels, Su Gologone Experience Hotel, Hotel dei Pini, Hotel Stella Maris, Is Molas, Hotel Sporting in Porto Rotondo, Bovi's Hotels, Lu’ Hotels, as well as important properties in other Italian regions such as La Cocumella in Sorrento, Hotel Chalet del Sogno in Madonna di Campiglio, Il Bottaccio Relais and Chateaux in Tuscany, Olympic Spa Hotel in Trentino, Domya in Milan, amusement parks like Leolandia and CanevaWorld Resort, and destination portals such as Alghero Experience and Pantelleria Island.

The solution proposed by VUIT, designed to develop next-generation, increasingly immersive and high-performing digital and purchasing experiences, integrates design, user experience, and marketing to offer highly personalised solutions to hotels and hotel groups such as Club del Sole, HNH Hospitality, Rizzante Hotels, and Gruppo ABC.

“The entry of Mentefredda into the Blastness Group represents an extraordinary opportunity for us. Acquisition by a well-established leader in digital hospitality such as Blastness – says Marco Montalto, partner and commercial director of Prossima Isola – allows us to provide our clients with top-tier technologies and solutions, fully leverage the potential of artificial intelligence, and strengthen growth prospects and volume increases. We are confident that Blastness’s strength and vision will be a decisive factor for future development, propelling hospitality businesses towards new levels of competitiveness and innovation.”

With this acquisition, Blastness reaffirms its commitment to support hotels and hospitality establishments with technologies, strategies, and services that combine innovation, know-how, and operational excellence.
