Blastness acquires Prossima Isola S.r.l. and strengthens its leadership with Mentefredda and Vuit

With this operation, Blastness now serves over 2,000 hospitality properties

Rome, 6 October 2025 - Blastness, a leading company in the provision of hotel booking technologies, continues its expansion path. A few months after the acquisition of Athena Solutions and the ErmesHotels brand, the company led by Andrea Delfini acquires 100% of the share capital of Prossima Isola S.r.l., the parent company owning Mentefredda S.r.l., a nationally established player in tourism digital marketing and revenue management, and a founding partner of the innovative brand VUIT, born from the collaboration between Mentefredda and ErmesHotels.

Thanks to this operation, Blastness brings its total to over 2,000 hospitality properties as clients and consolidates its role as a strategic partner for hotel hospitality, further expanding its ability to offer increasingly complete, advanced and high value-added solutions. In its reference market, Blastness - thanks to the proprietary platform that enables hotels to optimise their profitability and increase bookings on the online direct channel - has already been the leading provider of booking systems for 5-star hotels in Italy for over 15 years. The transaction also allows Blastness to gain new market shares in sectors previously unserved, such as amusement parks and tourism portals. Thus the Group's scope expands and strengthens its territorial presence, particularly in Sardinia, a region with a strong tourism vocation and great development potential. The acquisition confirms Blastness's interest in investing in the Sardinian territory and foresees full continuity for the companies within the Prossima Isola group, both in terms of staff and in the products and services offered and the relationship with Mentefredda's clients. The shareholders of Prossima Isola will retain their respective managerial roles within the company with the valuable strategic support of the Blastness Group.

Over the years it has collaborated with luxury resorts and hotels, amusement parks, tour operators and tourism portals, offering a tailor-made, results-oriented approach. Its skills range from website design and e-commerce development to revenue management, digital marketing and content creation, contributing to enhancing leading tourism brands both in Sardinia such as L'Ea Bianca Luxury Resort, Baja Hotels, Su Gologone Experience Hotel, Hotel dei Pini, Hotel Stella Maris, Is Molas, Hotel Sporting of Porto Rotondo, Bovi's Hotels, Lu' Hotels, as well as important properties in other Italian regions like La Cocumella of Sorrento, Hotel Chalet del Sogno of Madonna di Campiglio, Il Bottaccio Relais and Chateaux in Tuscany, Olympic Spa Hotel in Trentino, Domya in Milan, amusement parks such as Leolandia and CanevaWorld Resort and destination tourism portals such as Alghero Experience and Pantelleria Island.

The new sole director of Prossima Isola is Andrea Delfini. The new board of directors of Mentefredda includes Gabriele Del Curto as Chief Executive Officer with the appointments of Andrea Delfini - already Chairman and CEO of Blastness SpA - as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Piergiorgio Schirru - formerly Executive Vice President and COO of Blastness SpA - as the new Chief Operating Officer.

With this acquisition, Blastness confirms its vocation to support hotels and hospitality properties with technologies, strategies and services that combine innovation, know-how and operational excellence.

Legal advisor to Blastness was the GPD law and tax firm with lawyers Prof. Andrea Gemma, founding partner, Elisabetta Mattozzi, partner, assisted by Alessia Salamone, senior associate and Darina Ferri, associate.
